We’ve selected a photo of Ariana sporting these white knee-high socks for our featured article image in a somewhat of a schoolgirl uniform featuring a checkered black and white skirt that complements the legwear very well.

On her music video “Break Free” she also wears a very cute outfit and you can see her barefooted sporting tan pantyhose at around the 2:45 minutes mark. She seems to be floating in a zero gravity environment on board of a space ship which kind of reminds us of the opening seen from the movie “Barbarella” with the beautiful Jane Fonda. There are a lot of cool photos of Ariana in over the knee stockings like we’ve referred previously. And one Youtube member made a great video compiling some of them which you can see here. Every now and then Ariana posts a couple of really nice outfits and selfies on her Instagram account so be sure to follow it if you want to keep up to her legwear styles.

For context on just how big her career has gotten since those early Break Free days: Grande started out on Broadway at 15 before becoming a household name through Nickelodeon’s Victorious and Sam & Cat, then made the jump to music with 2013’s Yours Truly, which debuted at number one. She’s since become one of the biggest pop stars in the world, winning two Grammys (including one for her Lady Gaga duet “Rain on Me”) and setting a record with Thank U, Next in 2019, when she became only the second artist ever, after The Beatles, to hold the top three spots on the Hot 100 at the same time.

Our take: sheer tan pantyhose worn barefoot, the way she does here, remains one of the simplest ways to add a bit of polish to a bare-leg look without it reading as a full “tights outfit,” worth keeping in a drawer for exactly that kind of low-key occasion.
